Ring roller mill, also known as roller press mill (abacus mill), is a tool that involves multiple layers of ring rollers for crushing, impact, and grinding.
The raw materials are quantitatively fed into the crushing chamber, and under the action of centrifugal force, they scatter towards the periphery of the ring roller and fall into the rolling path of the grinding ring. They are impacted, rolled, and ground by the grinding roller and then crushed. After being crushed in the first layer, the materials fall into the second and third layers. After being crushed in the third layer, they are thrown out by the shaking plate and sucked into the classifier by the negative pressure of the induced draft fan. The coarse particles are sorted and returned to the classifier for re-grinding, while fine powder enters the cyclone collector or bag dust collector with negative pressure airflow to collect and separate gas and solid. The produced materials are discharged from the discharge valve to form the finished product, and the air is purified by the dust collector and discharged through the fan and muffler.
The tool is widely used for high-precision pulverization of various non-metallic minerals with a Mohs hardness scale of less than 6 and a humidity of less than 7%, such as talc, calcite, calcium carbonate, dolomite, potassium feldspar, bentonite, kaolin, graphite, and carbon.
